"Jackie Lynn 467" |
"Jackie Lynn 467" was my personal pick out of all of Michael
McLeod's herd of over 300 Butler and Butler blended Longhorns.
Michael really didn't want to sell her, but Michael's daughter,
Makayla, and his lovely wife Jackie consented to selling her to me
after I all but begged one Saturday at their place in Edna, Texas.
The only reason I would consider selling her is because she is 7/8 Butler. This is not a bad thing, it's just that our ranch goal is to remain 50% Butler in stock, with 25% Butler blends and 25% Emperor and Gunman influenced animals. At this time we are projecting about 50% Butler blends for 2007. "Jackie" gave us a 15/16th Butler heifer in 2006, and should be bred to "Chrismas Lee", our 62" 3.5 year old Brown Bomber son which we recently sold.

"585 Sand Dollar" |
"585 Sand Dollar" is an own daughter of the 68 3/4" "Ambush 13" bull
from Dora Thomson's program. This flat-horned strawberry roan gave
us a heifer this year. "585 Sand Dollar" was the pick of the
heifers from Dora's program as a yearling when the Asbills took her
for 1/2 interest in the bull 585 Todem Pole. Exposed to Dr. Ed
Shehee's straight Butler bull SKY ROCKET for a Fall 2007 calf.
